These Turkish Apple Cookies (Elmali Kurabiye) are delicious melt-in-the-mouth pastries made with crispy shortcrust (New Zealand Butter only), filled with apple, cinnamon and Hazelnuts.
How to Cook
Preheat the oven 180 and egg-wash the crescents. Bake them fan forced 20 to 25 minutes until you get nice golden brown colour. For a flakier finish, leave them in a little longer- until they have a deeper brown colour.
Once the crescents are fully baked, transfer them onto a cooling tray. Leave them for 5 minutes before you enjoy them.
