2 Sultan Boreks (bake at home)

A recipe from Oscar’s Mum! This traditional Turkish pastry  is made with  spinach and cooked beef mince and herbs 

How To Cook

  1. Defrost the borek in the fridge for a maximum of 24 hours or  couple hours on the kitchen bench until they get soft.
  2. Place them one a lined baking tray 
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake Sultan borek fan force for around 20 - 25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  4. Let it rest 5 minutes before you enjoy.


Beef mince, spinach, egg, herbs, poppy seeds
(wheat flour, vegetable oil, salt, yeast, improver)


Allergens: Gluten, egg, seeds

These were delicious. They browned perfectly in the oven exactly as the picture shows. We were grateful to have something delicious and easy to cook on a night when my husband and I were pretty exhausted and had no energy or ingredients to cook something. They tasted great and the ingredients are very fresh and nicely seasoned. Recommend them!
